Accreditation Evening – Thursday 18 February 2016
Total Foot Health has been awarded national recognition by the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists for the third time in succession which was presented to them by John Glen MP.
The award of Accredited Practice status recognises Total Foot Health’s excellence in helping the people of Salisbury to keep their feet healthy. The award was hard-won with the team having to prove all aspects of care meet rigorous standards. These range from the premises themselves, allowing access and appropriate treatment facilities through to safeguarding of patients. Other areas such as cleanliness and sterility as well as, of course, care and education of our patients and the podiatry team have been fully documented and independently inspected.
Directors Lyndon Jones and Elizabeth Green commented: “We are extremely proud of our team in gaining this award for the third time. The accreditation scheme has been in existence for six years and we have worked tirelessly throughout this period to ensure that we meet its standards. We know just how miserable foot pain can be and our team’s constant work has meant our patients have been able to lead an active, pain-free life, safe in the knowledge the level of care given could not be bettered anywhere in the country. Only 5% of practices achieve accreditation status and very few have maintained it for such a length of time. We would both be delighted to see new and old patients at the Practice to help us share this wonderful achievement.”
