CANCELLATION POLICY

If you have to cancel your appointment with us at Total Foot Health we would appreciate it if you can give as much notice as possible, with a minimum of 24 hours.

Giving more than 24 hours’ notice allows us to give this valuable time to another patient to help them solve their foot problem.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur an administration fee of £20, which will be added to your account becoming payable at your next visit.

If we have taken a deposit for your appointment this will either be transferred to your next scheduled visit or reimbursed in full if you have given us more than 24 hours’ notice.

In the unlikely event that you are unable to give 24 hours’ notice we will retain a £20 administration fee.

INCREASE TO PODIATRY FEES WITH EFFECT FROM MONDAY 19 JUNE 2017

As of the above date we will be introducing an increase in the cost of our podiatry treatments. We saw our costs rise sharply in the autumn of 2016, particularly from the specialist podiatry suppliers as many of these source their equipment directly from Europe. We have tried to avoid passing this on for as long as possible, but it has now proved necessary to introduce this increase. On top of our increased consumable and equipment costs we have seen rises in services that underpin our business, the necessary utilities we use and the overall running costs of the building itself.

We always look into various ways to try and avoid this, but we see that all of the alternative equipment and supplies offered are of a lower quality and this would naturally have reduced the quality of care that we can give to our patients. Last year the only viable option would have been to reduce patient appointment times to 20 minutes, but we felt then, and still strongly feel, that we do not want to introduce a ‘conveyor belt’ of podiatry care. Previous surveys of our patients have shown that you all highly value the time that we are able to spend over each appointment with you.
